Overview
The ABAT100-C is a battery string monitoring module designed for online measurement of charge/discharge current and ambient temperature of battery banks. Powered by DC24V external supply, it communicates with the ABAT100-HS collector via UART interface using MODBUS-RTU protocol. Paired with split-core Hall current sensors (AHKC-EKC series), it measures current up to 1000A, suitable for battery strings of various voltages. Its compact design and tie-down/adhesive mounting allow easy deployment in substations, data centers, and communication base stations, providing critical environmental and electrical parameter monitoring for battery systems.

FAQ
ABAT100-C is powered by an external DC24V supply, with a rated power consumption of 1W. It can be powered by a switching power supply such as KDYA-DG1502-12K.
It requires the AHKC series split-core Hall current sensor. The sensor is powered by the C-module with DC±15V, outputs ±5V voltage signal, and has selectable ranges from 0 to 1500A.
The module communicates with the ABAT100-HS collector via UART using MODBUS-RTU protocol. The collector then uploads data to the backend or touch screen via RS485.
No. The module uses detachable wiring and the split-core Hall sensor clamps around the cable without disconnecting the primary circuit, ensuring uninterrupted battery string operation.
The operating temperature is -10℃~50℃, RH 5%~95% non-condensing. The sensor head has IP65 protection, suitable for indoor and switchgear room environments.
Each ABAT100-C monitors only one string current and one ambient temperature. For multiple strings, multiple C-modules with individual addresses are required.
Summary
The ABAT100-C String Battery Monitoring Module provides online monitoring of charge/discharge current and ambient temperature for battery banks. Powered by DC24V and paired with split-core Hall sensors, it accurately measures current up to 1000A and ambient temperature from -5℃ to +105℃, both with 1% accuracy. Its robust anti-interference design ensures stable operation in high-frequency UPS environments, while two-level circuit protection guarantees long-term reliability. The compact module installs flexibly without power outage. Working with the ABAT100-HS collector, it enables comprehensive assessment of battery string performance, providing critical data for backup power systems in data centers, substations, and communication base stations, empowering maintenance teams to detect anomalies early and prevent failures.
