Overview
In a cramped distribution box of a retrofit building, the ADW310 installs in seconds using a split‑core CT – no power disconnection or rewiring. It measures Class 1 active energy, full power parameters, and optional two‑channel temperature. Wireless options (4G, LoRa, WiFi, LoRaWAN) send data directly to the cloud for remote monitoring. With multi‑tariff, demand logging, 1DI/1DO, and programmable alarms, it enables predictive maintenance and energy cost analysis. Ideal for scattered loads, branch circuits, and energy sub‑metering in commercial or industrial sites. It transforms hard‑to‑wire locations into smart, observable nodes at low total cost.

FAQ
D10 uses the 10N CT for circuits with a maximum current not exceeding 20A, such as lighting branches or low-power equipment. D16 uses the 16N CT for circuits with a maximum current not exceeding 100A, such as air conditioners or general power equipment. Choose based on the actual rated current of your load.
The ADW310 features a self-powered design, drawing its operating power directly from the measured voltage circuit (220V), eliminating the need for an auxiliary power supply and simplifying installation.
Depends on the frequency band and environment. Lora (470MHz) can reach up to 1km in open areas. 4G/NB-IoT relies on carrier coverage. WiFi typically covers 50-100m indoors. LoraWAN offers wider coverage, up to 1-3km. On-site evaluation or testing is recommended.
The meter supports standard Modbus-RTU protocols. For wireless options (like 4G), data is typically uploaded to a supporting cloud platform. For RS485 wired connection, data can be read using any SCADA, PLC, or data collector that supports Modbus protocol. We can provide the complete communication protocol register map.
No. The ADW310 is designed to be self-powered from the line and does not have a built-in battery or supercapacitor. When the line is de-energized, the meter stops working.
Summary
Enables quick and non-intrusive submetering in existing electrical panels. Wireless connectivity eliminates wiring complexity, while Class 1 accuracy ensures reliable billing-grade data. Cost-effective solution for residential and small commercial monitoring.
