Overview

In crowded distribution boxes or remote industrial sites, ADW300 delivers plug‑and‑play wireless energy monitoring.
It measures all three‑phase electrical parameters, 2‑31st harmonics, temperature, and residual current with Class 0.5S accuracy. Optional 4G, NB‑IoT, WiFi, LoRa, or LoRaWAN eliminate field cabling. Built‑in multi‑tariff, demand logging, and 12‑month historical storage support precise cost allocation and carbon accounting.
Ideal for plant sub‑metering, commercial HVAC monitoring, and old‑site retrofits, ADW300 reduces installation downtime and enables remote, real‑time power supervision – transforming passive meters into active energy intelligence.

FAQ

What wireless communication methods does ADW300 support?

ADW300 supports RS485, infrared, Lora, LoraWAN, NB-IoT, 4G, and WiFi. Among them, 4G, NB, and WiFi support MQTT, HTTP, TCP/IP transparent transmission, enabling direct connection to cloud platforms.

How to wire and configure residual current?

The residual current CT is connected to the “Leakage” terminals of the meter. Set the “Leakage range multiplier” in the menu according to the CT ratio (e.g., set multiplier 5 for 5A/1mA CT). The reading will automatically reflect the primary leakage current.

Does it support power-off reporting?

With optional 4G or WiFi communication, power-off reporting is supported (requires option U). When auxiliary power is lost, the built-in supercapacitor allows the meter to briefly operate and report the event via wireless network.

What is the wireless communication range?

Depends on the frequency band and environment:

  • Lora/LoraWAN: Up to 1~3km in open areas.
  • 4G/NB-IoT: Dependent on carrier base station coverage.
  • WiFi: Typically 50~100m indoors.
  • On-site testing or consultation with our technical support is recommended.
How to check wireless signal strength?

Read register address 0x01BF (447) via communication; the returned signed integer indicates signal strength (higher value = stronger signal). The signal icon can also be viewed on the display.

Can it be commissioned via a mobile APP?

With optional WiFi, a dedicated APP can be used for parameter configuration and data viewing (by connecting to the meter’s hotspot). The 4G version supports remote commissioning via the backend.

Summary

Combines 0.5S accuracy with multi-channel wireless connectivity. Offers harmonic analysis, leakage detection, and power-off reporting. Simplifies retrofit projects with split-core CT options, delivering reliable insights for industrial energy optimization.
