Overview

In an energy storage system, operators need not only DC metering but also control and analog signals.
DJSF1352-RN‑6 measures voltage (up to 1500V), current, power, and bi‑directional energy with 0.5% accuracy.
It features 2DI/2DO, 4‑20mA output, dual pulse outputs, event logging, and programmable alarms. RS485 supports Modbus.
Ideal for storage, industrial DC, and charging piles with external control. It reduces external components, enables alarm linkage, and simplifies remote monitoring.

FAQ

Does DJSF1352-RN-6 support dual DC inputs?

Yes. Dual DC inputs are optional. When selected, the meter can measure two independent DC voltages, currents, power, and energy simultaneously. Communication addresses are automatically assigned (Modbus addresses N and N+1, 645 meter ID increments by 1).

How to configure negative current shunt input?

In the menu, go to “Input” -> “Neg.t” and set it to “on”. If not set, the voltage reading may appear negative.

What signals can be associated with the analog output?

The analog output can be associated with Channel 1 current, Channel 1 voltage, Channel 1 power, Channel 2 current, Channel 2 voltage, or Channel 2 power. Output is 4-20mA, corresponding to 0~rated value.

What alarm functions does the meter support?

It supports overvoltage, undervoltage, overcurrent, undercurrent, over power, and under power alarms, with configurable thresholds. Alarms can be output via relays or linked with digital inputs. Zero-value alarm can be enabled separately.

How to set the pulse constant?

The meter defaults to adaptive mode (Puls set to 0), where the pulse constant (1,10,100,1000,10000 imp/kWh) is automatically selected based on the current maximum power. Users can also manually set a value between 1 and 10000 via the menu.

What tariffs are supported? How is deep valley displayed?

It supports 8 tariffs (T1~T8), configurable as peak, flat, valley, deep valley, etc. On the display, deep valley is indicated by “ON” above “DI 3” + current tariff “Peak” at lower left; on the tariff energy screen, “ON” above “DI 4” + “Peak” indicates deep valley energy.

What control modes are available for relay outputs?

Two modes: 1) Alarm mode, triggered by configured alarm conditions; 2) Bus control mode, remotely controlled via communication, supporting level output and pulse output.

Can the meter be used outdoors?

The meter operates at -25℃ to +65℃, storage -40℃ to +80℃, humidity ≤95% non-condensing. It is suitable for installation in outdoor cabinets with adequate protection.

How to read data from both channels?

In Modbus protocol, the two channels are mapped to two independent device addresses (first channel address N, second channel N+1). In DL/T 645, the meter ID increments by 1, effectively creating two logical meters. Users need to read each address separately to obtain data for the corresponding channel.

What is the accuracy of the analog output?

The analog output accuracy is Class 0.5, consistent with the measurement accuracy, meeting industrial control system requirements.

Summary

This advanced model integrates I/O and analog output for direct control and PLC/DCS integration. Ideal for complex DC systems requiring alarm handling, remote signaling, and real-time analog monitoring, enhancing automation and safety.
