FAQ
The device is suitable for power systems up to 35kV. It can accept secondary voltages such as 57.74V/100V, 220V/380V, 400V/690V, and can match primary system voltage by setting the PT ratio.
This feature analyzes voltage and current changes during a dip event using a single device, applying the equivalent impedance method to determine whether the disturbance source is on the line side (utility) or busbar side (user). No multiple devices are required; a single point can complete the location.
It supports Modbus-RTU (RS485), Modbus-TCP (Ethernet), IEC61850 MMS (optional), and FTP. For conventional monitoring systems, Modbus can be used; for digital substations, IEC61850 enables seamless integration; FTP is used for batch export of waveform data.
Equipped with 32GB SSD. 1-minute statistics can be stored for up to 90 days (FIFO). Waveform file storage depends on event frequency; under default settings, thousands of files can be stored.
Supports IRIG-B hard sync (via RS485 port) and SNTP network sync. IRIG-B absolute accuracy is ±1ms, clock accuracy ±1s/24h, meeting high-precision transient analysis requirements.
In the “Parameters – Function Parameters” menu, steady-state thresholds (voltage deviation, frequency deviation, harmonics, etc.) and transient thresholds (swell/dip, etc.) can be set. In the “DO Configuration” menu, each alarm function can be associated with any one or more of DO1~DO4, and can be set to bistable, monostable, or impulsive output modes.
Summary
With its Class A accuracy, comprehensive transient analysis, abundant interfaces, and high reliability, the APView400 provides a “panoramic view” of grid power quality, helping users clarify incident responsibility, optimize mitigation plans, and enhance power reliability.
