Function

Insulation MonitoringMeasures insulation resistance (10-999kΩ) with adjustable alarm threshold (10-995kΩ). Response time <2s, test voltage <12V.
Load Current MonitoringMonitors current from 2.1A to 50A, alarm set 5-50A, accuracy ≤±5%
Transformer Temperature MonitoringUses PT100 sensor, range -50℃ to +200℃, alarm 0-200℃ adjustable.
Alarm OutputOne relay output (AC250V/3A, DC30V/3A) for insulation, overcurrent, or overtemperature faults.
CommunicationRS485 interface with Modbus-RTU protocol for remote monitoring.
Fault Self–diagnosisDetects power failure, FK disconnection, TC disconnection, and insulation faults with clear LCD indication.

FAQ

How do I set the load current alarm value?

After power‑up, adjust the alarm according to the isolation transformer capacity:

10kVA → 45A

8kVA → 35A

6.3kVA → 28A

3.15kVA → 14A

Set via the device menu or through Modbus communication.

What does “FK” on the display mean?

“FK” indicates that the FE/KE terminals are not properly connected to the ground busbar. Please check the lower terminal wiring.

Can the AIM-M10 be integrated with a building management system?

Yes, it supports Modbus‑RTU over RS485, allowing easy integration with SCADA, BMS, or other central monitoring systems.

Summary

The AIM-M10 medical insulation monitoring device provides reliable, real-time supervision of insulation resistance, load current, and transformer temperature in medical IT systems. Its compact design, clear fault indication, and Modbus communication make it an ideal choice for operating rooms and ICUs. By detecting ground faults early and allowing preventive action, it ensures patient and staff safety while maintaining power continuity. Whether for new hospital construction or upgrading existing facilities, the AIM-M10 delivers essential protection for critical medical power systems.
